Duties:
Assess, treat and care as prescribed for patients with breathing disorders
Assume primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians
Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check and operate equipment
Successfully collaborate and initiate coordination of respiratory services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care
Complete, review, and ensure all respiratory therapy notes and charting are informative and descriptive of the respiratory care services being provided and that response to care is documented
Qualifications:
Must possess a current Respiratory Therapist license issued by the state
