Pay: $17.00/hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Available Shifts
1st Shift General Operator - Heat 3/Annealing
  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd Shift General Operator - Heat 3/Annealing
  • Monday-Friday
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • 15% shift premium after transitioning to 2nd shift
  • Shift bonus available after 30 days
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and motivated General Operators to join our Heat 3/Annealing department in Rockford, IL. This position is responsible for supporting heat treatment and annealing operations, handling materials, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality standards are met in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials for heat-treat and annealing operations.
  • Monitor products throughout the production process.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Handle and move materials safely throughout the facility.
  • Follow work instructions and production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
  • Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
