This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and providing customers with dependable solutions.The HVAC Service Technician will perform diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system start-ups while maintaining high standards for safety, workmanship, and customer service.Compensation & Benefits$35.00-$45.00 per hour401(k) with company match up to 4%,Employer-paid Medical, Dental & Vision coverage for employee,7 paid holidays,Paid sick leave,Paid time off beginning with 1 week during the first year, increasing with tenure,Full-time, year-round employment,Opportunities for continued technical development and advancementBenefits are subject to current company policies and eligibility requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systemsPerform preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning equipmentTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration-related issuesIdentify system problems and recommend appropriate repair optionsPerform refrigerant recovery, charging, and related HVAC/R proceduresRead and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment specifications, and technical documentationUse meters, gauges, and other diagnostic equipment to accurately identify system issuesPerform system start-up, testing, and commissioning as requiredComplete service documentation and maintain accurate records of work performedCommunicate findings and repair recommendations clearly and professionally with customersMaintain compliance with applicable safety procedures, building codes, and industry standardsQualificationsMinimum 3 years of HVAC field experience in service, repair, maintenance, or installationStrong preference for candidates with hands-on HVAC service and diagnostic experienceExperience with residential and/or light commercial HVAC systemsStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systemsAbility to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentationEPA Type II or Universal Certification preferredValid California driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to work independently in the fieldStrong communication and customer-service skillsDependable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanshipIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys diagnosing and repairing equipment, takes pride in doing quality work, and can communicate effectively with customers.We are looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term opportunity where technical ability, dependability, and customer service are valued.Apply today to learn more about this HVAC Service Technician opportunity in the Tri-Valley area.Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
