We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Coordinator who takes pride in keeping buildings, grounds, and equipment safe, clean, and operating at their best.If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and making a visible impact every day, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoWorking under the direction of the Branch Executive Director, you will coordinate the day-to-day maintenance needs of the branch by:Performing general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenanceCompleting minor plumbing, electrical, irrigation, and carpentry repairsPainting, pressure washing, grounds maintenance, and facility upkeepInspecting facilities and equipment to identify maintenance or safety concernsMonitoring and completing monthly safety inspections and checklistsMaintaining maintenance supplies, tools, and an organized workshopCoordinating maintenance projects and communicating progress with branch leadershipBuilding positive working relationships with contractors, vendors, volunteers, and staffSupervising maintenance volunteers as assignedHelping create a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for YMCA members and guestsReporting any safety concerns, suspicious activity, or situations that may impact member or child safetyWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:Self-motivated and dependableComfortable working independently while communicating effectively with leadershipSkilled at troubleshooting and solving maintenance issuesOrganized and able to prioritize multiple projectsCustomer-service focused and enjoys working around peopleCommitted to providing a safe environment for members and staffPreferred QualificationsResearch shows that some applicants only apply if they meet every qualification.
