Our client in Edison, NJ, is seeking an experienced Turret Truck Operator to join their warehouse team. This is a first-shift opportunity with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. The ideal candidate has recent experience operating a turret truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is committed to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a turret truck to pick, move, and replenish inventory in narrow-aisle warehouse locations.
- Accurately pull and stage customer orders using an RF scanner or pick tickets.
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory while following warehouse procedures.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Previous turret truck experience is required.
- Forklift certification is preferred, or the ability to become certified.
- Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
