Small Engine Repair Tech

Location: Starke Florida
Pay: Based on Experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of small engines. This role involves working on a variety of equipment including zero-turn mowers, tractors, and other small engine-powered machinery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines on equipment such as zero-turn mowers, tractors, and similar machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, blade sharpening, and part replacements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently and effectively.
• Consult with customers to understand their equipment problems and explain repairs needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with company standards and regulations.
• Keep tools and work area organized and clean.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in small engine repair, especially with zero-turn mowers and tractors.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate service vehicles may be required.
