Physical Therapist (PT) - Contract | Day Shift

Acute Medical Staffing is urgently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a short-term contract assignment in Athens, Georgia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist looking for consistent daytime hours and a short-

term contract in a healthcare setting.

Contract Details

• Location: Athens, GA 30606
• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Break: 30 minutes
• Approximately 18 shifts
• Pay Rate: $55.00/hour
• Employment Type: Contract / Temporary
• Start: ASAP

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled physical therapy services based on patient needs and physician orders
• Assess mobility, strength, balance, range of motion, and functional limitations
• Implement therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, documentation standards, and applicable regulations

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Georgia Physical Therapist license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous hospital, acute care, rehabilitation, or similar clinical experience preferred
• Current physical and required health screenings
• Ability to meet all facility credentialing requirements
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Availability for the duration of the contract preferred

Pay: $55.00 per hour
