Production Control & Reporting Coordinator
Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for daily operational and production reporting, production schedule upload and synchronization, data-integrity follow-up, audit and claims support, and administrative processes that support accurate production execution. This role works closely with Operations, Scheduling, Inventory, and management to keep production information current, identify risks early, and ensure required operational reporting is complete and accurate.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Performance Reporting
• Complete performance report: Enter performance data and balance reports
• Complete prior-day Input/Output review: Review and clear prior-day Input/Output daily.
• Complete Production P's reporting: Complete DD / SI / Throw / sets reporting daily. Digital P should be source and Tori to address with operations to become functional.
• Complete As-Is P's reporting: Complete DD / SI reporting daily.
• production scheduling: Upload and snyc to AS400: Upload using finfiles, sequence to match AS400, insert data required
Operational Exception & Audit Support
• Report incoming claims: Report incoming claims when identified to Jim Soto (manager)
• Participate in FSC audits: Pull paperwork for FSC audits; assign based on availability; go to Jim for assignment.
Administrative & Waste Processing Support
• File operation tickets: File operation tickets as backup to Lisa.
• Process damaged stock for RMR / waste "Shred Orders": Create order to bill CP - shred for bale to sell to RMR. Create R/W/P (ops code waste). Define approval process
Cross-Training & Coverage
Both positions will be cross-trained to provide backup coverage during absences, workload peaks, and month-end. Each employee is expected to understand the upstream and downstream impact of assigned tasks and provide coverage for the companion role when needed.
Qualifications & Performance Expectations
• Strong Excel, data-entry, and reporting skills with the ability to reconcile operational information.
• High attention to detail and ability to recognize incomplete, inconsistent, or unreasonable production data.
• Ability to upload and maintain the production schedule accurately and align it with AS400 sequencing.
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple daily deadlines and operational checkpoints.
• Prompt and professional written and verbal communication across departments.
• Self-starter who proactively identifies discrepancies, follows issues through resolution, and escalates risks timely.
• Dependable, on-time attendance and willingness to provide cross-coverage for the companion role.
