Multiple Locations:

Madison, AL (PT 2 days per week) 8a-4p

Montgomery, AL (PT 3 day per week) 8a-4p

Location: In-Person (Location*/ Remote Telehealth as needed)

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Psychologists and Board-Certified Psychiatrists to perform one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.

In this role, you will review medical histories, conduct in-person evaluations (with potential telehealth opportunities), and complete electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). There is no ongoing treatment, therapy, or prescribing involved.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Veteran medical records, service history, and prior exam documentation.
  • Conduct non-treatment behavioral health evaluations and complete DBQs/Medical Opinions using an electronic portal.
  • Explain the evaluation process to Veterans and accurately capture exam findings.
  • Submit completed exam charts within 24–48 hours post-assessment.
  • Administer and interpret psychological testing as required.

Qualifications

  • Psychologists: Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program with a focus on adult populations (Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology).
  • Psychiatrists: MD/DO with Board Certification or completion of a 2-year specialty residency.
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. state professional license.
  • Strong computer proficiency and comfort with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience conducting VA or C&P disability evaluations.
  • Strong background in clinical assessment.
