The ideal candidate brings extensive joint experience, deep knowledge of national‑level strategies, and proven ability to operate effectively in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.Key Responsibilities:• Support operational, strategic, and policy planning across the Office of the Secretary of War and/or Joint Staff. • Contribute to the development, review, and alignment of key strategic documents, including the National Military Strategy, National Defense Strategy, Consolidated Strategic Opportunities, Global Campaign Plans, and Combatant Command (CCMD) campaign plans. • Conduct mission analysis, operational planning, and strategic planning in Joint and/or Combined operational environments. • Assist in planning, analysis, and execution related to operations, plans, exercises, assessments, and strategy. • Ensure all planning efforts align with national defense objectives and support integrated global campaigns.Required Qualifications:• At least 7 years of experience working within the Office of the Secretary of War and/or the Joint Staff in operations, plans, policy, strategy, assessments, and/or exercise roles. • Bachelor's degree or higher. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Department of War strategic guidance and campaign planning documents. • Proven experience in Joint and/or Combined operations, operations planning, strategic planning, and mission analysis. • Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase II graduate or equivalent.The GARRETT GROUP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
