The Project Manager is responsible for leading land development and site design projects across residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, higher education, and senior living sectors. This role manages multiple projects simultaneously while overseeing engineering staff, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The position also supports business growth through relationship management, mentoring junior engineers, and maintaining high-quality project execution. It is a highly collaborative role within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment focused on professional growth and operational excellence.

Education
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent preferred

Qualifications
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) within the state

  • PE license required

Must Have Skills
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

  • Site design experience within land development

  • Experience across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development/site design

  • Private-sector project experience

  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D

  • Ability to review engineering work, mentor engineers, and troubleshoot design issues

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, architects, and project stakeholders

  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, invoicing, and profitability

  • Experience performing QA/QC reviews on engineering projects

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Working knowledge of CAD software

  • Experience preparing feasibility reports and cost estimates
