Commercial Electrician - Trainee/Journeyman

Southern California | Full-Time

We are an established Southern California commercial electrical contractor seeking a trainee or journeyman electrician to join our team. Our primary work is commercial ground-up construction and tenant improvements across a range of commercial projects throughout Southern California. We regularly take on projects involving complex electrical installations, utility work, and challenging field conditions.

We are looking for someone with 3+ years of commercial electrical construction experience who is proficient in conduit bending and installation, can read plans and perform layout, and is capable of troubleshooting and resolving problems in the field without constant supervision.

• Commercial electrical construction experience; residential-only experience is not applicable

• Proficiency in conduit bending and installation

• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications

• Ability to perform field layout and work from drawings

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

• Good communication and ability to work effectively with other electricians, contractors, and trades

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Southern California

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and other off-hours when required by project schedules

We are looking for someone who wants to continue developing their skills and take on greater responsibility over time. The goal is for the right person to progress into a lead electrician role and eventually become a foreman capable of directing crews, coordinating with other trades, resolving field issues, and running commercial projects independently.
