Maintenance Technician II

• Unfailing safety attitude and adherence. • 1 – 2 years manufacturing experience. • 1 – 2 years maintenance experience. • Basic ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics. • Firm grasp of the proper use of all hand and shop tools. • Serves as a mechanical safety advocate for all surrounding colleagues. • 2 – 3 years manufacturing experience. • 2 – 3 years multi-craft maintenance experience. • Advanced ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. • Intermediate understanding of electrical• Ability to troubleshoot intermediate mechanical issues. • Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical issues. • Ability to navigate all HMI’s and begin changing machine set points. • Can perform all line and product changeovers in assigned building. • Can bring all lines back to a run ready state in assigned building. • Leads other junior technicians with line changeovers. • Mentors and guides all set-up and apprentice technicians. • Can complete assigned equipment PMs on time without assistance. • Can plan and execute minor line improvements and modifications. • Understands that all downtime more than 15 minutes must be escalated to MTL• Ability to listen and learn from more seasoned technicians. • Ability to perform in a team environment. • Open minded. • Ability to properly escalate DT and other issues. • Excellent communication skills, Some supervision and guidance from MTL. Ability to troubleshoot intermediate mechanical and minor electrical issues. Take lead during line Set-ups. Initiates and executes small projects
