About the Role

As a CNA at Lamar Estates, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, taking and recording vital signs, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition, following infection control and safety procedures, and providing compassionate, respectful care at all times.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist with transfers and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Provide compassionate, respectful care at all times

Qualifications

Active CNA certification: We require an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
CPR certification (preferred): While not required, CPR certification is a plus
Strong communication skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with our team
Reliable and team-oriented: You will be working as part of a team, so we're looking for someone who is reliable and team-oriented
Passion for working with seniors: A passion for working with seniors is a must for this role
