Job Description
As a Welder, you will perform MIG/TIG all-position welding on a diversified line of standard weldments and structures in accordance with code certifications, alignment, dimensional and general inspection requirements. Strong organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to read measuring gauges such as rulers, micrometers, and calipers are required. Job requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions as well as the ability to perform basic math. The ability to lay out measurements on products from supplied blueprints is required.
Responsibilities:
- MIG & TIG welding: fit and make own set-ups, position weldments having a number of parts, prescribed or standardized, but Welder may select and vary techniques within limits of recognized procedures
- Work from drawings and possess the knowledge of welding techniques
- Perform any additional duties as assigned; Some heavy lifting will be required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must possess the ability to work independently from assembly drawings and specifications.
- Ability to measure and make own set-ups, use MIG, TIG, and Plasma proficiently to produce items to quality standards and tests
- Knowledge of welding principles and techniques
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices.
- Work can entail heavy lifting up to 50lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 80lbs.

The base salary range for this position is $28, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
