Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to inspire students through hands-on learning, inquiry-based instruction, and real-world applications of scientific concepts. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity and critical thinking in students while covering topics in [Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, or General Science], depending on grade level and curriculum requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

  • Teach core scientific concepts, the scientific method, and laboratory skills.

  • Conduct hands-on experiments and demonstrations to enhance student understanding.

  • Foster inquiry-based learning and encourage students to explore scientific questions.

  • Assess student progress through tests, projects, and formative assessments.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

  • Maintain a safe and organized laboratory/classroom environment.

  • Integrate technology and real-world applications into science instruction.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff about student progress.

  • Participate in professional development and extracurricular science activities (e.g., science fairs, STEM clubs).

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Experience: Prior teaching experience preferred.

  • Skills: Strong classroom management, passion for science education, ability to make scientific concepts accessible and engaging.
