Viking LLC is looking for an Injection Molding Machine Technician to keep our production floor running smoothly, and we're ready to invest in your growth while you do it.Why Techs Choose Viking:Weekly payGenerous paid time offMedical, Dental, Life & Short-Term Disability insurance401(k) with company contributionTuition reimbursementHands-on training and real opportunities to grow your skillsA team-oriented culture where dependability is valued and noticedWhat You'll DoSet up, start up, and operate injection molding machines and mold-changing equipment for productionInstall molds and make adjustments to keep quality standards on targetMonitor machine performance and part quality, making process changes as neededTroubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep product flowingPerform preventive maintenance inspections and repairsConduct mold changes, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting molds, per the production scheduleKeep accurate documentation of process changes and equipment concernsHelp maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production areaWhat You BringHands-on experience with injection molding equipment in a technical, maintenance, or troubleshooting role (1+ year preferred - but if you've got strong mechanical aptitude and are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply)Comfort using hand tools, mechanic's tools, and basic equipment maintenance skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or technical specificationsStrong problem-solving skills - you notice when something's off and know how to figure out whySelf-motivated and reliable; you work well independently and as part of a teamGood attendance and a reputation for showing up and following throughPhysical RequirementsThis role is active and hands-on. It involves standing for extended periods, working in varied positions, and lifting up to 55 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. You'll be working around machinery, so expect some noise and temperature variations.
