Job Title:

Second Shift Working Lead - Plating Department - $20-$25/hr DOE

Pay:

$20-$25/hr, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Job Description:

Lloyd Richards Personnel is hiring a Second Shift Working Lead for a local plating department.

This position is for someone with coating or plating-related experience who can lead by example while still working hands-on. The Working Lead will help follow the production schedule, complete assigned department work, support safety and productivity, and help keep the plating department moving efficiently.

Job Duties:

• Follow the production schedule set by the supervisor
• Complete jobs assigned to the plating department
• Lead employees by example through safety, work ethic, and productivity
• Prepare parts for electroplating
• Assist with masking, racking, tool assembly, and selected surface preparation
• Use hand tools, grinders, knives, razor blades, tape, waxes, and related shop tools
• Set up and operate plating-related equipment
• Inspect parts before and after plating
• Use and calibrate measuring devices
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and overhead cranes as needed
• Complete daily production cards and required paperwork
• Help keep the shop clean and organized
• Train others in the department when needed

Requirements:

• Must have coating, plating, or related industrial experience
• Must have lead experience
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be able to do basic math
• Must be able to read and understand written procedures
• Must work well with others
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals and shop equipment
• Must pass drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to reach, pull, lift, stand, walk, kneel, and climb
• Must be comfortable working in hot and cold shop conditions
• Must be comfortable wearing required safety gear for long periods of time
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals and hazardous products
