If methodical work, clean craftsmanship, and customer trust motivate you, this role is your arena. You’ll be the expert who turns plans into reliable, code‑compliant residential HVAC systems.

What you'll install
  • Air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, mini‑split systems, and package units in single‑family and residential settings.
How you'll do it
  • Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Fabricate/modify ductwork and route or braze refrigerant lines; run drain lines; install gas piping and venting; complete the electrical terminations required.
  • Charge refrigerant accurately and validate performance to manufacturer specifications.
  • Start up and commission equipment; perform system testing, airflow balancing, and operational inspections.
  • Hold every install to local building/mechanical codes, OEM requirements, and our internal quality standards.
  • Complete all paperwork, job documentation, and required photo capture.
  • Teach homeowners how to operate and maintain their new systems.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe job site from arrival to wrap‑up.
Collaboration & schedule
  • Partner closely with installation helpers, service technicians, warehouse staff, and management to deliver on time.
  • Be ready for on‑call or overtime needs during peak seasons.
What it takes
  • EPA Section 608 certification (required).
  • 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Confidence with the refrigeration cycle, airflow, electrical components, and installation best practices.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and install manuals.
  • Working knowledge of local mechanical and building codes.
  • Strong diagnostic mindset and problem‑solving ability.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
Physical & safety expectations
  • Lift 75–100 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined spaces.
  • Use ladders, power tools, and test instruments safely and effectively.
Tech stack
  • Comfortable with: EPA compliance, HVAC installation workflows, and ServiceTitan.
