Quality Control Technician - Weekday Days

SUMMARY:Quality Control Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sampling, and testing food products to ensure they comply with quality standards and customer specifications. SHIFT TIMES:Our Weekday Days Quality Control Technicians are scheduled to work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Monitoring, sampling, and testing food products to ensure they comply with quality standards and customer specificationsVerification of sanitation activities, including preoperational inspections, swabbing, and communicating corrective actions to production personnelLiaising with production personnel and supervisors on day-to-day activitiesWork with customers and consumers to resolve complaints; trend and report complaints to senior management with root cause analysis and continuous improvement recommendationsInvestigate, trend, analyze and report complaints quarterly ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Strong computer and organizational skills; working knowledge of MS Office.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Activities include walking, kneeling, lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, bending, stacking, twisting, pulling, pushing, inserting, sitting, squatting, standing, accumulating, and collating motions.Be able to handle 50lbs of material with assistance occasionally.
