Maintenance Assistant

Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center of Fletcher is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance employee, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities and equipment are in top condition and running smoothly. You will play an essential role in identifying, diagnosing, and fixing any issues that may arise, as well as implementing preventative measures to avoid problems. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong attention to detail, maintenance nursing facility experience, is highly organized, has HVAC knowledge and repair skills and experience with a variety of different tools and equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections of our facilities and equipment to identify potential problems

• Diagnose and repair any issues that arise with our facilities and equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to avoid future problems

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments

• Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed

• Work with external vendors and contractors when necessary
