Maintenance Tech

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Industrial Maintenance Technician positions for a Manufacturing company. This role is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Apply now!

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

• Perform maintenance and repairs on molds, tooling equipment, and related production components

• Inspect, adjust, replace, and repair cutting blades and associated components

• Diagnose mechanical equipment problems and respond quickly to minimize production downtime

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to established procedures

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues

• Coordinate with production supervisors and other maintenance personnel to address equipment concerns

• Follow all facility safety procedures and required PPE guidelines

• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe

$24.00 – $30.00/hour

AM Shift

4 days on / 3 days off schedule

12-hour shifts

Week 1: Sunday – Wednesday OR Thursday – Saturday

Week 2: Sunday – Tuesday OR Wednesday – Saturday

• 1+ year of previous industrial equipment maintenance experience required

• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair

• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments

• Ability to read equipment manuals and basic mechanical drawings

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to equipment issues

• Experience in manufacturing or battery production is preferred

• Experience with cutting equipment, tooling, or mold maintenance is strongly preferred

• Ability to follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining equipment and production quality
