About the Opportunity

Express is recruiting a skilled Fabrication Welder to support an established custom metal fabrication shop in Covington. If you’re motivated, hands-on, and eager to sharpen your craft, you’ll fit right in.

A Day in the Shop

You’ll start your day reviewing CAD drawings and sketches, planning your setup, and choosing the right process for the job. From there, you’ll:

• Set up and operate welding equipment for SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG) according to project specifications.
• Perform basic repairs and build up worn or defective surfaces using the proper techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Work from CAD drawings/sketches to ensure accuracy and quality in each fabrication.

Schedule & Pay

• 1st shift
• $16–$25 per hour, based on experience and skill level
• Evaluation to Hire

What You Bring

• Motivation to work hard and develop your skills
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and sketches
• Welding certification preferred
