Description:
\tWork with engineering requirements, work orders, prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic information to manufacture to quality requirements, parts and assemblies.
\tFabricate assemblies using computerized numerical controlled (CNC) mediums while simultaneously ensuring product and/or process quality at all levels of the manufacturing operation through monitoring/verification methodologies.
\tDetermine and adjust as necessary machine feeds, speeds, and work alignment using shop mathematics, charts and graphs and precision measuring instruments.
\tAbility to machine proof new and revised part programs.
\tAdjust tool set-ups and make minor machine adjustments to ensure safe operation of the machine.
\tAdapt tooling and holding fixtures as necessary to orient machine tool cutters and machining fixtures.
\tAbility to check parts for correct dimensions using heights gages, gauge blocks, micrometers, calipers, protractors, and other precisions tools.
\tUse precision measuring instruments required to accomplish tasks.
\tUtilize tooling in the assembly of components into sub-assemblies or end items.
\tVerify work performed is per work instructions and meets process and/or engineering specification.
\tIdentify discrepancies found per applicable procedure.
\tEnsure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure.
\tAssist in the training of other assembly personnel in assembly and installation techniques.

\tSkills:
\tDrill, Countersink, Seal and Install fasteners using manual or CNC machines
\tAdapt tooling and holding fixtures as necessary to orient machine tool cutters and machining fixtures
\tAbility to check parts for correct dimensions using heights gages, gauge blocks, micrometres, callipers, protractors, and other precisions tools
\tWork with engineering requirements, work orders, prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic information to manufacture to quality requirements, parts and assemblies
\tThis is a 2nd shift role. However, all the workers must be able to work any shift
\tQualified candidate will need to successfully pass a skills demonstration
\tExperience in a manufacturing/production setting
\t5 years of relevant experience is required
\tBackground in aerospace/aviation
\tBelow are the training details which will take place upon start :
\tNeed knowledge of basic machining, CNC and Conventional, including M codes and G codes
\tHow to use a dial indicator to indicate a hole or a tooling ball
\tBasic math skills
\tIt takes between 2 and 3 hours
