MIG Gun Assembler – 1st Shift
Position Overview
Alliance Workforce is hiring an experienced MIG Gun Assembler to join a manufacturing and production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with cable assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality products. The MIG Gun Assembler will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting MIG welding guns, cables, and related components while meeting daily production and quality goals.
What You'll Do
- Assemble MIG welding guns, cables, and components according to work instructions.
- Perform cable assembly including cutting, stripping, crimping, and routing wires.
- Install connectors, fittings, and protective coverings.
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
- Read and follow basic diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Test finished products to ensure proper functionality.
- Identify and report defective materials or assembly issues.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cable assembly experience is required.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read basic diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling MIG welding guns or similar products.
- Soldering and crimping experience.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands for detailed assembly work.
- Ability to lift and move 25–50 lbs. as needed.
- Good close-up vision for detailed inspection.
- Ability to work on a manufacturing/production floor.
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
