Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working in extreme heat required/preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Metalworking, manufacturing, industrial, or crane-operation experience preferred.
- Ability to operate or learn overhead bridge cranes and hoists.
- Ability to safely maneuver heavy steel products into pre-treatment and molten zinc tanks.
- Monitor and adjust zinc bath temperatures, chemical levels, and alloy additions.
- Skim zinc ash and assist with dross removal from the kettle.
- Inspect galvanized products for bare spots, runs, drips, and dross inclusions.
- Must have strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must demonstrate strong safety awareness.
- Client is seeking someone interested in a long-term career opportunity rather than short-term employment.
Shifts:
- Nights 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM
- Training is on Days 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
