Schedule & Compensation
  • Starting Pay: $16.00+ per hour, based on experience
  • Weekend Shift Differential: Additional $1.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday
  • Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Position Type: Full Time
What You’ll Do

As a CNA in Memory Care at Epworth Villa, you’ll help residents feel safe, respected, comfortable, and connected. You’ll provide compassionate, person-centered care while recognizing that each resident has a unique history, personality, routine, and set of needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, and other personal care needs while promoting dignity and independence.
  • Build trusting relationships through patience, reassurance, consistency, and meaningful interaction.
  • Provide compassionate support to residents experiencing memory loss, confusion, anxiety, or other dementia-related behaviors.
  • Recognize changes in residents’ moods, behaviors, abilities, or physical conditions and communicate concerns to the care team.
  • Follow individualized care plans and approaches that support each resident’s preferences, routines, and abilities.
  • Help maintain a calm, familiar, and engaging environment where residents feel secure and valued.
  • Assist with dining, activities, and light household tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing Memory Care and dementia-focused training.
  • Support residents throughout the Memory Care neighborhood and assist in other areas as needed.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Oklahoma CNA certification.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification through the American Heart Association.
  • At least one year of experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care, with Memory Care or dementia-care experience strongly preferred.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to respond calmly and compassionately to the changing needs of residents living with dementia.
  • A genuine desire to build relationships with seniors and support their dignity, purpose, and quality of life.
  • A team-focused approach and willingness to support coworkers, residents, and families.
