Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, empathetic, and organized Patient Services Representative to join our front office team.
This position plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of our practice and in providing an excellent experience for our patients from the moment they walk through the door.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with intake forms and paperwork
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Help coordinate patient flow throughout the office
- Collect co-pays and other patient payments
- Verify insurance benefits and patient information
- Maintain accurate patient and EMR records
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA requirements
- Communicate with physical therapists and other staff regarding patient and office needs
- Assist with general front-office and administrative responsibilities
- Support occasional marketing and other office-related projects
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, in-person position.
Monday & Wednesday Tuesday & Thursday Friday – Alternating Schedule
10:00 AM – 6:30 PM 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM / 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organized and dependable
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
- Team-oriented and willing to assist where needed
- An effective written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable working with computers and electronic medical records
- Empathetic, personable, and patient-focused
- Comfortable working in a busy healthcare environment
Prior healthcare or medical office experience is a plus.
Compensation
$40,000 – $50,000+ per year
Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
