Operations Lead -- Warehouse & Customer Service
Job Description
We're hiring one dependable person to support the day-to-day of our Shreveport operation — orders going out, inventory on the floor, and the customers who walk in the door. You will be part of a small, effective team backed by hands-on owners driving business growth.
35% of your week is the counter and the office. Customers on the phone and in person, estimates, sales orders, invoices, posting payments, watching the customer portal.
65% of it is the warehouse. Receiving and staging garage doors, keeping inventory accurate, loading and unloading trucks, keeping the place orderly.
About 1–2 days a month you cover our driver's route. Driving our box truck through Louisiana or Texas. No CDL required — we pay for your DOT medical card.
What you need
• Hands-on experience in a warehouse, trades, building materials, or supply-house setting.
• Strong communication. You'll be on the phone and at the counter all day — customers meet you before they meet anyone else here, and you need to be clear, friendly and easy to deal with.
• Ability and willingness to drive the box truck route 1–2 days a month.
• Comfort with a computer — email, spreadsheets, and some kind of order or inventory system. You don't need to know ours; we'll train you.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, able to pass a DOT physical.
• Able to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Steady work history. High school diploma or GED. Pre-employment drug screen and MVR check.
Nice to have
Counter or will-call experience at a supply house — lumber, plumbing, electrical, HVAC. Invoicing, A/R or bookkeeping. Forklift. Box-truck or delivery driving. Garage door experience is a bonus, not an expectation — we'll teach you the product.
Pay & benefits
• $52,000–$56,000 per year ($25.00–$26.92/hour), overtime-eligible, plus performance bonus potential.
• $500 every month toward the health plan you choose — that's $6,000 a year on top of your pay — with a paid broker consultation.
• 401(k) with 3% automatic company contribution, whether or not you contribute.
• 15+ days paid time off and 8 paid holidays.
• Company-paid DOT medical card and training. Relocation assistance may be available.
• Benefits begin after 60 days.
