The Director of Education is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the educational programs and initiatives within the organization. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in education administration and strategic planning. The Director will manage budgets, develop educational strategies, and ensure that all programs align with the organization's mission to educate and empower students. Duties

  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Manage the education materials, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Collaborate with daycare partners to align curriculum with academic standards and industry requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of program to evaluate safety and effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  • Engage in strategic planning to set long-term goals for educational and safety initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders, including parents, community members, and educational institutions.
  • Stay informed about current trends in education and integrate innovative practices into program development.


Qualifications

  • BA Early Childhood Education or related field and State certification
  • 2 or more years group teacher experience for children under 6 years old (47.13)
  • Proven experience in education administration, preferably at a childcare center level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent budgeting skills with experience managing financial resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and program development.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to educate various audiences.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs.
