Reset Wellness & Recovery is a fast-growing, multi-site behavioral health organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. Our continuum of care includes outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) programming, sober living, primary care, and dental services, with a new 43-plus bed Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF) launching at our Van Buren campus. We are in-network with AHCCCS and major commercial payers including Aetna, Cigna, BCBS Arizona, Tricare West, Optum, and Multiplan.

Position Overview

We are seeking a board-certified Medical Director (M.D. or D.O.) in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine to provide clinical leadership across our expanding continuum of care. This is a unique opportunity for a physician who wants more than a W-2 role — we are offering a genuine path to ownership and equity participation for the right long-term partner who wants to help build and shape a growing behavioral health organization from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

%CF; Serve as Medical Director overseeing psychiatric and medical care across outpatient, IOP, and residential (BHRF) levels of care

%CF; Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants

%CF; Oversee medication management protocols, psychiatric evaluations, and treatment planning

%CF; Support compliance with AHCCCS, ADHS, and commercial payer clinical standards

%CF; Partner with the executive team on program development as Reset scales its Van Buren residential campus and broader service lines

%CF; Participate in credentialing, quality assurance, and utilization review processes

Qualifications

%CF; Board certification in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine (Addiction Psychiatry preferred)

%CF; Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license, or eligibility for licensure

%CF; DEA registration in good standing

%CF; Experience in outpatient behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential care settings preferred

%CF; Strong interest in a long-term leadership and ownership role within a growing organization — not just a clinical staffing position
