Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plays a critical role in providing direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on both adult and child/adolescent patients. This bilingual and experienced professional manages medication, supports therapy sessions, and intervenes during crises to ensure comprehensive mental health care. With minimal travel required, the practitioner collaborates closely with other healthcare providers to develop and document individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage psychiatric medication regimens
• Support therapeutic interventions and sessions
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Deliver direct patient care to adults and children/adolescents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in advanced psychiatric nursing
• Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
• Availability 24 hours per week 11-6 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Wednesdays 9 to 5
