Job Description
What You'll Do
- Greet every guest like you're glad they walked in — because we are
- Take orders, run the register, and keep the line moving during rushes
- Bake, roll, and finish Cinnabon products fresh throughout the day
- Scoop, assemble, and decorate Carvel ice cream cakes for pickup and custom orders
- Keep the store clean, stocked, and up to health-code standard
- Help capture content for our Instagram and TikTok — behind-the-scenes baking, new products, cake reveals, neighborhood moments
- Pitch in on catering and school-event orders as they come in
-Responsible for the preparation of certain food items
-Responsible for greeting guests and taking their orders accurately in a friendly manner.
-This position requires knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and packaging as well as familiarity with the step-by-step procedure for making various food and beverage products. Some positions require the preparation of food and beverage items and the team member is responsible for maintaining quality standards of the products prepared.
-Responsible for friendly and efficient customer service. In addition, Team Members working cash handling positions will be responsible for accurate cash control.
-Responsible for delivering food and drink orders to guests and confirming accuracy of orders.
What We're Looking For
- **Customer service experience** — retail, food service, hospitality, anywhere you've dealt with people face to face
- **Kitchen or baking experience** — you're comfortable around ovens, prep, and working clean under time pressure
- **A friendly, welcoming presence** — this is the biggest one. We can teach the recipes; we can't teach warmth.
- **Comfortable with social media** — you know what a good photo and a good short video look like, and you're not shy about being part of the content
- **Reliable and on time** — an opening crew lives or dies on this
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to [25] lbs, and work in a warm kitchen environment
Nice to Have
- NYC Food Protection Certificate (food handler's license) — if you don't have one, we'll help you get it
- Cake decorating or piping experience — icing work, lettering, custom designs
- Weekend and holiday availability (our busiest, most fun shifts)
