Post-Construction Cleaners Needed - 2 to 3 Day Project

Pay: $20 to $24 an hour depending on experience and reliability.

We are looking for 2 to 3 hardworking people to help with a final post-construction clean at a retail space in Augusta. The heavy construction debris is gone, but there is a lot of fine drywall and construction dust everywhere, so be prepared to get dirty! This is a short-term project that will take 2 to 3 days to complete.

Hours are extremely flexible. We can work days, overnights, or weekends, whatever works best for the team to get it done quickly and thoroughly.

What you will be doing:

• Operating a commercial walk-behind floor scrubber, as well as sweeping, wet mopping, and buffing floors.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs to take out trash and move mop buckets or equipment.
• Wiping down cabinets, cleaning mirrors, and removing stickers and labels from hardware and doors.
• Cleaning plumbing fixtures and restrooms. Note that we cannot use muriatic acid or harsh abrasive cleaners on any of the finishes.
• Vacuuming carpeted areas.
• Working fast but keeping a sharp eye on the details so the store is ready for the public.

Important Details:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must wear closed-toe shoes or work boots for safety.
• Pay will be issued by check exactly 2 weeks after the project is completed because we have to wait for the retailer to process the final invoice.
• Prior commercial cleaning or floor scrubber experience is a huge plus.
