Quality Manager

Demonstrate proven experience in the following areas:

Fast-paced job shop environment machining small-diameter, high-volume, precision-turned components.

Root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions

Geometric dimensioning

Comprehend and interpret customer, aerospace/military, and third-party specifications and documentation.

Process improvement leadership.

Problem resolution with customers and suppliers

Mechanical inspection using optical comparators, thread gages, indicators, micrometers, CMM, etc.

Supervision or coordination of quality inspectors

ISO 9001/AS9100, preferably as Management Representative or Lead Auditor

PPAP, FMEA and AS9102 FAIR

Calibration and purchase of gages

Review of outgoing quotations and incoming orders for quality requirements

Hands-on quality training and interpretation on the shop floor

Self-motivated and continuous improvement oriented

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Proficient with Word and Excel

Occasional travel required.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
