Host Hostesses

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements to foster a lively and hospitable atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding dining experience, making guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor, establishing a positive first impression
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and availability
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about menu options or specials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including waiting lists and reservation logs
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service transitions
• Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills to enhance overall satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or restaurant settings
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel experience is a plus
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, serving procedures, and restaurant operations
• Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in guest relations, hospitality, or hotel services is highly desirable
