We are currently seeking an accomplished Commercial Project Superintendent to join our team focused on Inland Empire and Orange County projects. This opportunity is best suited for an experienced superintendent who enjoys managing fast-paced commercial projects, solving field challenges, developing strong relationships, and taking ownership of a project from mobilization through final completion.

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates should have 5–10 years of commercial superintendent experience with a mid-size or large commercial general contractor, including significant experience with commercial tenant and capital improvement construction.

The successful candidate should be comfortable managing projects in both occupied and operational facilities and have experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, clients, property and building management personnel, facility staff, and inspectors.

Your commercial construction background should include experience with:

• Tenant, facility, and capital improvement projects
• Office, medical, industrial, and/or senior living construction
• Occupied and operational building environments
• Field supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors
• City, fire, and other required inspections
• Building management and property management requirements
• Building access restrictions, rules, regulations, and operating procedures
• Projects constructed from both complete and incomplete construction documents
• Architectural, MEP, and fire protection drawings
• Specifications, submittals, RFIs, and related construction documentation
• Trade coordination, scheduling, field conflicts, and changing site conditions
• Inspections, punch-list completion, and project closeout

Responsibilities and Qualifications

As Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for the daily field operation of your assigned projects and for maintaining Bingham Construction's expectations for quality, safety, schedule, professionalism, and client service.

Candidates must possess strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. An exemplary career safety record is required.

You must be able to read and understand commercial construction documents, including architectural, MEP, and fire protection drawings, and be comfortable working with submittals, RFIs, specifications, and other project documentation.

Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project is also required.

Because commercial improvement work often requires flexibility, candidates must be willing to work after hours and/or weekends when dictated by project schedules. You must also be willing to work on projects anywhere within Southern California. Employer-paid out-of-town expenses will be provided for qualifying projects located outside San Diego County.

This is a hands-on field leadership position. Candidates must be capable of performing occasional light physical construction work and safely using small construction tools when needed.

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screening and possessing and maintaining a clean driving record.

Beyond technical qualifications, we are seeking a superintendent who enjoys building great projects, exceeding client expectations, solving problems, and creating productive working relationships with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, vendors, building management, inspectors, and facility personnel.

Compensation

This is a full-time salaried position with a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
