Kitchen Prep / Back-of-House Assistant (Fast-Paced Chinese Takeout)

What You’ll Do

• Handmade Appetizers: Prepare, roll, and fold high-demand appetizers like egg rolls, crab rangoons and wontons.
• Prep Ingredients: Wash, peel, chop, and portion vegetables, meats, and aromatics to keep the line moving fast.
• Wok & Line Cooking Opportunities: Learn and train to cook fried rice, soup, noodles, classic sauce entrées, and deep-fryer items on the line.
• Inventory & Restock: Unload weekly deliveries, organize dry storage and walk-in coolers (FIFO), and keep prep stations fully stocked.
• Kitchen Support: Maintain a clean workspace, handle dishware/equipment sanitation, and jump in wherever help is needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic knife skills and kitchen safety awareness (prior restaurant prep experience preferred, but we will train the right attitude).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40–50 lbs (produce boxes, rice bags).
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team-first mindset.
• Adaptable, willing to jump into different tasks, and eager to learn new kitchen skills.
