About the Role:
Kickstand's Pub & Grub in Saint James City, FL is looking for a talented and energetic Certified Bartender to join our team! If you love crafting great drinks, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and being the life of the bar, this is the place for you. Responsibilities:
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Greet and engage with guests to provide an exceptional bar experience
- Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible serving guidelines
- Process payments, handle cash, and operate the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service
- Uphold all state and local liquor laws and health/safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid bartending certification required
- Florida responsible vendor certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Prior bartending or bar service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Energetic, reliable, and a true team player
