Irrigator / Landscape Installer

The Irrigator / Landscape Installer plays a vital role in executing various landscaping and irrigation projects, ranging from large commercial developments to small residential properties and public parks. This position requires hands-on expertise in installing irrigation systems and landscapes, operating a range of equipment from hand tools to heavy machinery, and collaborating both independently and as part of a team under crew leaders or site managers. Flexibility in travel between multiple project sites is a key component of the job.

Responsibilities

• Install irrigation systems and landscape features on diverse project types
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Prepare sites through clearing, grading, and layout tasks
• Troubleshoot installation issues to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain quality control standards throughout all project phases
• Comply with all safety regulations and policies
• Interact professionally with customers and team members
• Handle materials and equipment responsibly

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in irrigation or landscaping

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in irrigation system installation
• Experience with landscape installation
• Skill in equipment operation, including heavy machinery
• Physical stamina for demanding outdoor work
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective teamwork and time management abilities
