Lead and manage complex federal, state, and local tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations.
Review tax returns, projections, research, and workpapers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality.
Develop proactive tax-planning strategies that minimize liabilities and support clients’ financial objectives.
Serve as a trusted adviser and primary contact for high-net-worth individuals and business clients.
Research complex tax matters and advise clients and firm leadership on regulatory developments.
Manage IRS and state tax notices, examinations, and other tax-authority correspondence.
Supervise, mentor, and develop tax professionals while reviewing performance and allocating work.
Oversee engagement budgets, deadlines, billing, profitability, and tax-season workflow.
Support business development by strengthening client relationships, identifying service opportunities, and assisting with proposals.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation, CPA or EA certification, and at least 8 years of progressive tax experience, including management experience.
