Car lot Manager

The Car Lot Manager oversees the daily operations of a car dealership lot, managing a small sales team and ensuring smooth workflow across inventory, sales, and customer service. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is vital for maintaining lot organization, driving sales, and fostering positive customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle inventory and coordinate fleet maintenance
• Oversee sales activities and support a small team of 1-5 employees
• Supervise staff and monitor compliance with dealership policies
• Build and maintain strong customer relations
• Coordinate marketing initiatives to boost lot visibility and sales
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in automotive sales or management
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in inventory and sales management
• Strong customer service and team leadership skills
• Proficient in negotiation, problem solving, and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
