Accountant

• Self-motivated, results oriented accounting professional with emphasis in a computerized manufacturing environment.
• Experience (at least 5 years) in monthly closing processes, reconciliations and analyses; preparation of monthly financial statements and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of and compliance to General Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies, procedures and transaction controls.
• Monitor debt levels and ensure compliance with debt covenants.
• Perform local, state and federal government reporting, tax filings and tax payments
• • Specifically: Sales Taxes, Property Taxes and Business Licenses
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and Corporate Accounting firm.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory processes.
• Basic working knowledge of Inventory maintenance, costing, reconciliation and controls.
