Delivery Driver--Mattress City Hillsboro

The Delivery Driver at Mattress City Hillsboro is responsible for transporting mattresses and related products safely and efficiently to customer homes and warehouse locations. Operating a box truck or delivery van, the driver will ensure timely deliveries during morning and afternoon shifts while maintaining excellent customer service and adherence to safety standards. Reporting directly to the logistics manager, this role plays a vital part in enhancing the customer delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload mattresses and equipment safely
• Navigate assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
• Inspect vehicles before and after shifts for safety compliance
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Complete required delivery documentation accurately
• Report delivery issues or vehicle concerns promptly

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated safe driving practices
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Physical stamina for loading/unloading tasks
