Job Description

Job Title: Patient Coordinator & Sales Rep — ARCpoint Labs of San Diego

Job Description:

Part-Time (M–Th, 10am–2pm) | Room to Grow into Full-Time

ARCpoint Labs of San Diego is looking for a new associate to be the friendly voice patients hear when they call to schedule blood work, drug testing, or DNA services, and the confident face that shows up at local businesses to grow our Occupational Health accounts (drug testing, respirator fit tests, and more).

This isn't a sit-quietly-behind-a-desk job. You'll be on the phone, in the community, and behind the wheel of our company vehicle, meeting business owners, and telling San Diego why ARCpoint is the lab team they want in their corner.

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales calls and in-person visits to prospective business clients
  • Promote and grow our Occupational Health services, including drug testing, respirator fit tests, and more
  • Manage and nurture our existing accounts, ensuring strong client relationships
  • Deliver marketing materials and account information to local businesses
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads
  • Meet with business owners and decision-makers to present our services
  • Track outreach activity and report on sales progress
  • Drive our company vehicle on local runs to support outreach efforts

Patient Coordination & Front-Desk Support:

  • Welcome patients and create a professional, positive front-desk experience
  • Check patients in and confirm demographics
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate appointments
  • Manage the provider's clinic calendar and coordinate patient follow-up
  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients professionally and compassionately
  • Monitor voicemail and route messages to the appropriate person
  • Monitor incoming practice emails and respond or route them appropriately
  • Communicate appointment instructions and follow up on required paperwork
  • Respond to general administrative questions without providing medical advice

What you bring:

  • A warm, can't-help-but-smile phone presence
  • Sales drive... you like closing the deal and hitting goals!
  • Friendly, outgoing energy that makes people want to work with you
  • Reliability and a great attitude

Requirements:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California driver's license and clean driving record (required for company vehicle use)
  • Reliable transportation to/from the office
  • Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Computer proficiency (scheduling software, email, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a medical office, front-desk, or customer service role
  • Prior sales or business development experience
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices

Why you'll love it here:

  • Small, hardworking, fun team culture
  • Bonuses for sales performance
  • Real potential to grow from part-time into full-time
  • Variety, no two days look the same between phones, accounts, and being out in the field
