The Delivery Specialist I is primarily responsible for performing final-mile deliveries to customers safely and efficiently while maintaining vehicles and associated equipment in a professional manner. Key responsibilities include ensuring punctual performance, maintaining proactive schedule communication, guaranteeing secure product delivery, resolving customer issues, and processing product returns as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Consistently demonstrate punctual and reliable attendance.
- Achieve delivery schedules to guarantee prompt drop-offs.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Keep the delivery vehicle and equipment, when utilized, clean and well-organized.
- Comply with company guidelines and traffic regulations to support safe driving standards.
- Safely and efficiently load, arrange, and unload merchandise, treating all items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by maintaining a welcoming, professional demeanor.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff and the team to fulfill daily duties.
- Keep precise records of all deliveries and document any incidents or issues that occur.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver’s license (no CDL needed)
- Lift to 50 lbs
- Consent to drug test
- Calm, safe driving in traffic and all weather
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Clean driving record
What You’ll Do
- Load delivery vans and deliver packages safely and on time
- Drive and climb in/out of the vehicle 100–200 times daily
- Walk 5–8 miles per day
- Follow all Company safety standards
- Use a handheld device for navigation and delivery records
- Interact with customers professionally when needed
- Work 3–5 days/week, up to 9 hours/day
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Hold a valid driver’s license supported by an impeccable driving record.
- Demonstrate the physical endurance and mental focus needed to navigate outdoor environments safely and efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while operating job-related equipment proficiently, safely, and accurately.
- Capable of handling, lifting, and transferring heavy and bulky merchandise.
- Exhibit strong time management capabilities to consistently meet strict schedules.
- Provide outstanding customer care with a professional, welcoming approach.
- Apply effective verbal and written communication skills to interact constructively with colleagues and clients.
- Proficient in utilizing GPS navigation tools and digital maps.
- Capable of successfully fulfilling all mandatory training programs.
- Maintain availability for varied shift schedules, including weekend hours as needed.
- Ability to play a strong role in teamwork.
