QSR Restaurant Manager - Full-Time, Open Availability Required
Job Description
Sunset Chicken is seeking an experienced, hands-on QSR Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our Cape Coral restaurant. This is a full-time management position for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working alongside the team, and capable of maintaining high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.
The right candidate will take ownership of the restaurant during their shifts, coach employees, maintain food quality and speed of service, and ensure every customer receives a consistent experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting the team during busy shifts
- Managing food quality, accuracy, ticket times, and customer service
- Training, coaching, and holding employees accountable
- Assigning work and keeping employees productive
- Maintaining proper staffing and helping manage the schedule
- Monitoring food preparation, portion control, waste, and inventory
- Ensuring food-safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards are followed
- Handling customer concerns professionally
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Managing cash-handling and end-of-day procedures
- Helping create a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant management or strong shift-leadership experience required
- QSR or fast-casual restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Full availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain organized and make decisions during busy periods
- Dependable transportation and a consistent attendance record
- Comfortable working on the line and assisting wherever needed
- Food Protection Manager certification preferred or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
This is not a desk-management position. Our manager must be visible, involved, and willing to work alongside the team while maintaining control of the shift.
