Restaurant Custodian / Housekeeping

The Restaurant Custodian / Housekeeping role is integral to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the restaurant. Working closely with a small team, this position ensures all areas are sanitary, well-stocked, and compliant with safety standards. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, the custodian plays a key role in supporting both staff and customers through diligent facility upkeep and prompt maintenance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation of all restaurant / venue areas
• Remove trash and manage waste disposal
• Restock inventory such as cleaning supplies and paper products
• Report maintenance issues to the Facility Manager promptly
• Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, and polishing
• Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance
• Provide customer support by maintaining a clean environment
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and properly

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience in custodial or housekeeping roles
