ABOUT THE ROLE
Quadrant Fitness is looking for a motivated, organized, people-focused Sales & Operations Manager to help lead the continued growth of our Clovis location.
This is not a position for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo. We are looking for someone who enjoys sales, building relationships, developing a strong team, creating an incredible member experience, and taking ownership of results.
The Sales & Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio while being directly responsible for driving membership growth, improving retention, developing our Adaptive membership, re-engaging past members, and helping our team consistently execute at a high level.
Success in this position will be measured through four primary pillars: Sales, Operations, Retention, and Club Culture.
1. SALES & CLUB GROWTH
Sales will be the #1 priority of this position.
The Sales & Operations Manager will be responsible for helping grow both our general fitness membership and our Quadrant Adaptive program.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding quickly and professionally to new leads
- Making outbound calls, texts, and follow-ups
- Scheduling prospective members for trials, tours, consultations, and classes
- Following up with prospects who do not immediately enroll
- Converting leads and trials into paying members
- Consistently working toward weekly and monthly membership and revenue goals
- Developing local outreach, referral, and community partnership opportunities
- Helping grow awareness and enrollment for Quadrant Adaptive
- Tracking sales activity, conversions, and results
- Holding the team accountable for assigned sales and lead-follow-up responsibilities
This person should be comfortable talking to people, asking for the sale, following up consistently, and being held accountable to measurable goals.
2. OPERATIONS & TEAM ACCOUNTABILITY
The Sales & Operations Manager will oversee daily studio operations and help ensure that Quadrant standards are consistently maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and accountability for front desk staff and coaches
- Ensuring front desk responsibilities are completed, including customer service, studio cleanliness, social media support, and assigned daily tasks
- Ensuring coaches consistently meet expectations for professionalism, member experience, and club standards
- Helping maintain an organized, clean, welcoming, and professional facility
- Addressing member concerns quickly and appropriately
- Communicating operational issues to ownership
- Helping create systems and accountability that allow the studio to operate efficiently
We are a small team, so this is a hands-on leadership position. The manager should be willing to step in, solve problems, make calls, help members, clean when necessary, and lead by example.
3. MEMBER RETENTION & WIN-BACKS
Growth isn't only about adding new members. Keeping our current members and rebuilding relationships with former members is equally important.
The Sales & Operations Manager will:
- Build relationships with members and understand their goals
- Monitor member engagement and attendance
- Identify members who may be at risk of cancelling
- Follow up with members who have stopped attending consistently
- Help resolve member concerns before they become cancellations
- Contact former members and create opportunities to bring them back
- Support referral and member-engagement initiatives
- Track cancellations, freezes, retention, and win-back efforts
4. CLUB CULTURE
Quadrant Fitness is built around more than workouts.
The Sales & Operations Manager will help create an environment where members feel known, encouraged, supported, and connected.
This includes:
- Learning members' names and building genuine relationships
- Creating energy and excitement inside the studio
- Supporting coaches and front desk staff
- Helping new members feel welcomed and comfortable
- Celebrating member wins and progress
- Supporting events, challenges, and community-building initiatives
- Protecting and strengthening the culture and values of Quadrant Fitness
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is:
- Sales-driven and comfortable working toward measurable goals
- Highly personable and relationship-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
- Organized and consistent with follow-up
- Comfortable making phone calls and having sales conversations
- Positive, energetic, and professional
- Able to lead and hold others accountable
- Solution-oriented and willing to take ownership
- Comfortable working in a small-business environment where everyone contributes
- Passionate about fitness, health, people, and community
Previous fitness-industry experience is helpful but not required. Sales experience, leadership ability, work ethic, coachability, and alignment with our values are more important.
COMPENSATION & OPPORTUNITY
- $18/hour
- Approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Commission opportunities tied to sales performance
- Complimentary Quadrant Fitness membership
- Opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation as the location grows
This position is ideal for someone who wants more than an hourly job. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of a location, help grow a business, positively impact people's lives, and be rewarded for producing results.
