\nAs an RN on the BHU, you'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to:
\n\nAssess and monitor patients with complex behavioral and medical needs
\n Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
\n Develop individualized care plans that promote dignity, quality of life, and optimal outcomes
\n Support patients and families through education, advocacy, and compassionate communication
What You'll Do
\nDeliver safe, compassionate, age-appropriate nursing care to patients and their families
\n Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments
\n Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
\n Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
\n Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
\n Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge needs
\n Evaluate patient outcomes and identify opportunities to improve care delivery
\n Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements:
\n\nAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
\n Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
\n Current Maryland RN license or eligibility through a compact state license
\n BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
\n Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
\n Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
\n Experience with Cerner or similar electronic medical record systems preferred
Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
